Frequently Asked Questions...
Where we answer all your questions...well, all your Amphora-related questions anyway!
Q: Does it really take a week to get my pottery fired?
A: Yes, it does. Here's why: first, we have to let your pottery dry for 24 hours. The next step is the glazing process, which takes anywhere from 24-48 hours depending on how much pottery has been painted that day and week. The pottery must then dry again for at least another 24 hours before going into the kiln. Each piece stays in the kiln for at least 24 hours, sometimes up to 36 hours depending on the fullness of that particular kiln load.
